Bus crashes into store, passengers injured

Iligan City — A bus of the Rural Transit Corp rammed into a store early morning Monday here injuring the driver and passengers of the bus.

In a report by Police Station 5 at Poblacion, this city headed by Senior Insp. James Magaro Daleon, the bus was traversing along Mariano Badelles Street heading towards north of the city.

The bus, driven by Rodney Omongos, 33, was suddenly hit by Jitney driven by Mark Paul Laid, 30.

Both drivers were injured and taken to the hospital. The other passengers were identified as Jeequinth Cabangbang Clapano, 21, single, resident of Esperanza, Bacolod, Lanao del Norte, Orland Gaid Rosell, 31, resident of Mauswagon, Laguindingan, and Rocky Lumacad,. 25, of Luinab, this city. Both vehicles and the building sustained damages.
