Muriel Lomadilla is a half Nigerian and half Filipina from Cagayan de Oro City. She joined The Clash to make her mother and family proud. She also wanted to showcase her talent to the world. It is not her first time to join a singing competition that is why for her, she is more than ready for what’s to come. Muriel will showcase her talent this coming Saturday, July 28.

“I want to prove everyone who believes in me that I can do it and I won’t waste their support and I want to prove the people who try to bring me down wrong. For the clash I quit my job, left my family back home and moved to an entirely different city. I left Cagayan de Oro City to chase my dreams I could say that I am more than blessed to be part of The clash. Being part of the top 62 is so nerve wracking because we have no ideas who were up against— the thrill of not knowing who you’re going to battle with and when you are going to battle makes it more exciting and puts a lot of pressure on us. Marami talagang pakulong pasabog ang GMA sa The Clash kaya dapat abangan at tutukan ng mga manonood. I hope you will continue to support me on my journey in reaching my dreams together with my best friend Josh Adornado, we will surely make Kagay- anons proud! She said.

“The experience and the family I’ve gained could never be traded with anything else, not even money.”

Josh Adornado is an online English teacher from Cagayan de Oro City. He almost gave up in all trials he had gone through. He went to Australia to find her mother and lived with her. And as he goes back to the country, he is blessed to be part in the singing competition —The Clash. He again had a new hope!

Let us show support to our fellow Kagay-anons by watching The Clash every Saturday after Pepito Manaloto and Sunday after Daig Kayo Ng Lola Ko! Have a vibrant day!
