Camiguin Food Products Association in Poblacion, Mambajao, Camiguin has received a food processing shared services facility (SSF) from the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) – Camiguin Provincial Office on September 22, 2018.
The association is an industry cluster group which aids in strengthening the processed food industry in the province of Camiguin while also promoting the interests and concerns of individual members. It envisions to be a catalyst in the progress of the province through the production of globally-competitive and quality food products.
DTI-Camiguin is a partner of the CFPA in the processed food cluster development. The partnership aims to address the gaps and bottlenecks in the value chain of priority industry clusters by providing Shared Service Facility (SSF) to sustainable industry partnerships and to gear up a market-driven processed food industry in Camiguin.
