PREPARATIONS for the Holy Week in the island province of Camiguin are underway.
Camiguin Gov. Maria Luisa Romualdo has met with the all the town mayors, technical staff, and capitol department heads for an inter-agency “sharing of responsibilities” in line with this year’s “Panaad.”
Camiguin officials main concerns are on how to keep the island peaceful and orderly during the Panaad 2018 activities that are expected to draw more tourists into the province during the Holy Week.
The Department of Trade and Industry in Camiguin has been tasked to technically assist the provincial government in managing the souvenir shops and traders along the walkway to the old volcano in Bonbon, Catarman, Camiguin. (pr)
