CAMIGUIN Island — The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda)- Camiguin Provincial Office names Connie B. Adajar, general manager of Bahay Bakasyunan sa Camiguin as the provincial nominee for the Search for 2017 Idols ng Tesda.

Adajar is endorsed for the wage-employed category where there were only four nominees made it to the Regional Search. In the contest proper, only three nominees came; two from the province of Bukidnon and one from Camiguin.

The Regional Search was held recently at the Function Hall of Tesda in Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.

The wage-employed category is open to any Filipino graduate currently working in a field related to the Tesda certificate he or she has earned and receives a pay check from an employer for the last three years.

The Search for Idols ng Tesda aims to give recognition to graduates of Tesda programs who have attained skills excellence and success in their chosen occupations and contributed to the economic growth in their communities. (pia x)
