WHAT would Madonna do? That’s a question one may ask, even if he’s not a Madonna fan.
Operative word: may. You may or you may not. There are always at least two choices. Thus, you may choose to believe a story. Or you may choose not to.
For example: The maldita may choose to roar or keep her mouth shut. For now, she’s quiet for a change. Not because she’s tired. She’s simply waiting for the right time to roar. In case you haven’t noticed, she has begun to mention names. Which is one thing she avoided before. But these are for stories with good vibes and for the people who spread good vibes. But then, she may decide never to tell the stories with bad vibes–they’re bad vibes already, why bother? Let the bad vibes drown in their own bad vibes.
For now, the maldita is keeping her focus on goals. It’s not for her, although there are people who will insist it’s for her. But in the bottomless pit of her heart, she knows it’s not. It’s for everyone. This is how she has been making choices, this is not new to her.
There are three kinds of people in this oh so cruel world: the used, misused, and abused. What kind are you?
The used is the one who lets another person control him and his thoughts because he knows he will be rewarded in the end for his “good” works.
The misused is the one who lets another person force him to do things he doesn’t want to because he knows he will be rewarded… Wait, same as above?
The abused is the one who lets another person torture him because he knows… Hmmm, yes, same as above.
But my definitions could be wrong.
You look at the used, misused, and abused and realize they all look the same–believing in the one and only person who’s telling them lies which they now adopt as the truth and nothing but. If only they’re aware that the liar could no longer withdraw the stories he has been spreading because, well, he knows he will be rewarded… Wait… Oh, yup, same as above!
Ilang tulog na lang gyud till the maldita can even be more maldita than she is now. Hear her roar! For now, she’s keeping her mouth shut and agreeing to everything, saying yes, nodding her head, kung saan kayo masaya, suportahan ta mo. People laugh at her now, like, Bwahahaha why so serious with your goals? We were not like that during our time, we were not serious at all! So, why are you? Bwahahaha! You’re so funny, a clown, your nose so red and round, make us laugh pa more!
The maldita stares at them as she thinks of that one more goal she has to accomplish. Ay, di pa rin gets ni maldita why they’re so against her. Laugh na lang si maldita with them. Bwahahaha! The whole world does laugh with you.
What matters is you’re all laughing. Everybody happy. Or so it seems.
Madonna may laugh with them, too, but while yelling two words, with the first word sounding like duck.
People have this habit of comparing. Say, comparing Madonna to Mother Teresa. Yay. Poles apart. Or Tita Cory to Korina? Yay. Nadine to Kathryn. Ayay.
And then, there’s Batman versus Superman. Which is a movie. In other words, fiction. Which may create friction if the fiction is now being spread as facts.
Wonder Woman is in that movie, too. But her role is not to be the leading lady of either Batman or Superman. She kicks a**. And if it’s your a** she’s gonna kick next, I’ll say, Go ahead, make my day. Which is a line from a certain Harry who’s a character in another movie…
With all the fiction and lies in this oh so cruel world, you may have to ask, What would Madonna do?
