CITY council’s committee on sports and youth development, chaired by Councilor John Michael Seno, has been reviewing the proposed increase of cash incentives for the city’s athletes who wins medals in competitions.
The proposal also includes a stipulation to give incentives to the coaches of the winning athletes in regional meets.
Those present at the committee’s recent meeting included City Sports Coordinator Jaymar Rivera and Sports Overseer Rocky Calingin, coaches of different sporting events, representatives from the city’s Sports Council.
