A NEW City Memorial Park will soon be established in Barangay FS Catanico, this city.
This, after a representative of the City Engineer’s Office confirmed that they are ready to submit the site development plan for such purpose to concerned offices and to the committee on urban poor chaired by Councilor Zaldy Ocon.
During the recent committee meeting, Councilor Ocon said he is thankful for the developments regarding the project, especially because the lot owner of the proposed cemetery site, agreed to sell his property to the city government.
In line with this, Ocon said he hopes that the project will be completed before the end of this year for the reason that the City Cemetery at Bolonsori, Camaman-an, is already full. (sp)
