Eleven years after holding it in the same spot, the Bukidnon Girl Scouts Council is now back at hosting thousands of girls for the 33rd Regional Camp at Mangima Spring Resort, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. With the theme, “Leading the Change, Living the Change,” the Bukidnon Girl Scouts Council, which incidentally is currently celebrating its 65th anniversary, is the lead organizer of the much-awaited event, with the help of honorary members Bukidnon Governor Jose Ma. Zubiri, Jr., Manolo Fortich Mayor Clive Quino and Bukidnon First District Rep. Ma. Lourdes Acosta-Alba.

Expected to participate are more than 1000 girls (Juniors, Seniors and some Cadets) with their Troop Leaders as chaperones. These campers come from 13 councils representing 11 provinces

around Mindanao namely Agusan Norte, Agusan Sur, Surigao , Surigao Sur, Davao Oriental,

Davao Norte, Davao Sur, Misamis Occidental, Misamis Oriental and South Cotabato.

Various activities have been slated such as a dance clinic, spoken word poetry, water adventure, campfire, fire drill exercises, knot tying lashing and tree growing. The girls will also hold major activities at the Dahilayan Adventure Park and Dahilayan Forest Park.

Parents, guardians, friends and relatives and the greater community are invited to come

witness the Open Camp on April 14, whole day.
