CDO Dancesport Competition and MINDAnow Superstars Of Tomorrow

Cagayan de Oro City is not just known as City of Golden Friendship, but it also a flourishing tourist spot, in the capital city of the province of Misamis Oriental; they are also a very talented when it comes to dancing, singing, crafts, designing, organizing and so on.

This year, Cagayan de Oro was the luckiest place because an exciting and the biggest Dancesport Competition 2018 and MINDAnOw Superstars of Tomorrow Series is the first competition that was held at the City of Golden Friendship, Cagayan de Oro City, Limketkai Mall Atrium last August 4, 2018.

The CDO DanceSport was conceptualized in order to develop individual talents and skills in dancing. The participants will also get a first-hand experience of what it is like joining a professional DanceSport competition, giving them experience, hence gaining self-discipline, self-confidence and self-esteem.

This event is also the start of a huge public sports development program that involved free DanceSport trainings for the youth. It is their hope that with DanceSport, the youth will turn away from drug abuse and crimes and will have the opportunity to avail of athletic scholarships and sources of income as dancers, performers, trainers and choreographers.
