Cepalco schedules 12-hour blackout

THE Cagayan Electric Power and Light Co. (Cepalco) has scheduled a 12-hour blackout in some parts of the city again tomorrow.

The blackout would take place from 6 am to 6 pm, affecting parts of Cugman and Gusa.

Cepalco, in an announcement yesterday, said the power interruption was scheduled to facilitate the continuation of line conductor stringing works along the highway in Cugman which is related to the ongoing 69-kv Tablon-Puntod line project.

Cepalco said switchings would result in for three hours of blackouts in some parts of the city or from 6 am to 7:30 am, and again at 4:30 pm to 6 pm. The affected areas would include Tablon, Baloy, Lapasan, and Indahag.
