Chopper blamed for damages to Oro houses

RESIDENTS of Kolambog, Lapasan, this city, are calling on the management of National Grid Corp. of the Philippines to help them repair their houses that were damaged allegedly because of its low-flying chopper.

Those complaining are Teresita Pajardo, Alex Obatay, John Veri and Juliet Parjardo, all residents of Kolambog.

At about 9 am Wednesday, Kolambog residents scampered and panicked when the NGCP chopper hovered just above the rooftops.

The downdraft caused the roofs of the houses to fly off, cut their lines, and scattered their belongings.

The NGCP’s corporate affairs division said it has yet to receive an official report on the incident. (Nitz Arancon)
