NINE barangays will now be able to implement programs and projects for 2019.
The City Council during its regular session this week has adopted separate resolutions returning to Barangay Nos. 7, 23, 36, Balulang, Bonbon, Macabalan, Macasandig, Pagalungan, and Patag their ordinances covering their respective annual budgets for implementation.
This, upon noting that the barangay ordinances are in order and may be given force and effect.
Barangay No. 7 has a budget of P2.7 million; Barangay 23, P2.7 million and Barangay 36, P2.4 million.
Meanwhile, Balulang’s budget is P29.9 million; Bonbon, P8.7 million; Macabalan, 17.4 million; Macasandig, P18.8 million; Pagalungan, P3.7 million and Patag, P14.9 million.
The barangay budgets were reviewed by the committees on barangay affairs and on laws and rules chaired by Councilors Yan Lam Lim and Ian Mark Nacaya, respectively. (sp)
