THE water supply in the western parts of the city and Opol town in Misamis Oriental would remain wanting until this weekend.
This was revealed by the Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) based on the information it received from its bulk water supplier.
In an advisory, COWD said the Cagayan de Oro Bulk Water Inc. expects to complete the repair of a broken impeller shaft of one of its pumps on Sunday afternoon.
Because of this, COWD said many areas, especially elevated areas, would have low pressure. Affected are Lumbia, Upper Carmen, Patag, Bulua, Iponan and Opol.
