COWD General Manager Bienvenido Batar, Jr. said Moresco 1 in Barangay Pualas Baungon, Bukidnon had an unscheduled power interruption on April 11 at about 7 pm which disrupted the operations of the equipment of Cobi that lasted around seven hours.

Batar said the power returned at 2 pm that same day and that Cobi was able to supply water the city’s two districts.

The water service supply reduction by Cobi, Batar added, is because the company is dependent on the power supply of Moresco 1.

Batar said they have yet to acquire a standby power generator for Cobi’s water treatment plant in Barangay Pualas. However, Batar said that Cobi officials told him that the company is in the process og buying a power generator abroad.

Dili man gud kuno kana madali kay gibuhat paman ang maong generator. Dili man kana human da-an kay dako man kaayo nga generator nga ilang gikinahanglan,” said Batar.
