AT least four wanted persons were arrested during a series of manhunt operations in the city over the weekend.

Police Senior Insp. Bernard Colegio, officer-in-charge of the Warrant Section said the arrest of the suspects is in line with the aggressive campaign of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (Cocpo) to arrest wanted criminals and put them behind bars.

Colegio said they arrested Jimar Cabanog, 24, a resident of Picalawag, Lanao del Norte for robbery.

He said police operatives were armed with a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Maria Luna Llena G. Lanticse-Saba of MTC Branch 5 with recommended bail of P12 thousand.

A police team led by Senior Insp. Esmeraldo Labi, station commander of Police Station 8 Lumbia conducted a manhunt operation in Barangay San Simon which resulted in the arrest of Rosalio Edrolin, 55, of Zone 2, Upper Sans Simon by virtue of warrant of arrest attempted murder issued by Judge Dennis Z. Alcantar of Regional Trial Court 10 Branch 18 with bail bond recommended of P120 thousand.

Meanwhile, police operatives of Police Station 10 Cugman led by Chief Insp. Ivan Viñas arrested Almer Udtohan,30, aka “Boy Indian,” of Sto. Niño Barangay Lapasan for violation of RA 7610 Anti-Child Abuse Law issued by Judge Richard D. Mordeno of RTC 10 Branch 22 with recommended bail of P80 thousand.

Authorities also arrested John Ailex Ravelo, 27, a resident of Purok 1 in Barangay Tablon for violation of RA 9262 Anti-Violence Against Women and their Children  Act of 2004 by virtue of warrant of arrest issued by Judge Evelyn Gamotin Nery of RTC 10 Branch 19 with bail bond recommended of P24 thousand.
