THE Cagayan de Oro City Police Office (COCPO) boast the success effectiveness of Oplan Lambat Sibat in carrying out operations against crimes with great success.
The marching order of the Secretary, DILG and the Chief, PNP for all units to intensify its campaign against illegal drugs and wanted persons as cascaded by the Regional Director, Police Regional Office 10 in consonance with OPLAN LAMBAT SIBAT is faithfully being carried out by Cagayan de Oro City Police office.
The steadfast support of the City Government of Cagayan de Oro and the Sangguniang Panlungsod had significantly resulted in tangible breakthroghs in its drive against illegal drugs and wanted persons.
Based on the consolidated reports submitted by COCPO Station Commanders from Stations 1-10 and Special Units as of 01 January 2016 to 20 of April 2016, there were 126 positive drugs operations conducted which resulted in the arrest of 216 drugs suspects. Out of these arrested persons, there were 148 drug pushers and 68 were drug users.
Drugs confiscated were Shabu weighing a total of 570.07gms with an estimated value of One Million Four Hundred Twenty-Five Thousand One Hundred and Seventy Five Pesos (Php 1,425,175.00) and marijuana weighing at 3.41gms worth One Thousand Twenty Three Pesos (P1,023.00).
