Alleged cannibal Lloyd Bagtong, 21, a resident of Talisayan town in Misamis Oriental has been killed on the spot tonight by police officers after allegedly trying to wrestle the pistol off a police escort en route back to his town after an inquest proceeding here in Cagayan de Oro City.
Talisayan Police Chief Maribeth Ramoga confirmed with Gold Star Daily that Bagtong asked to relieved himself along Barangay Danao in Jasaan town at about 9 pm, Dec. 6. The police officers took off Bagtong’s handcuffs but allegedly lunged suddenly to the nearest police escort’s gun. (Joey Nacalaban)
