Copy of questionable suspension order came from Guialani

FORMER Taglimao barangay chairman William Guialani was the source of another spurious document on an alleged suspension order by the Sandiganbayan against Mayor Oscar Moreno.

Radio station DxCC reporter Jao Gumapac, who reported about the alleged Sandiganbayan resolution, told the Gold Star Daily that a copy of the spurious document was sent to him by Guialani.

Gumapac was a bit reluctant at first to identify his source.

“It was sent to me from Manila,” he said.

When this paper asked him who exactly sent him the copy of the spurious document, Gumapac said it was “William… William Guialani.”

Guialani is the same source of a spurious document that was used Friday to make it appear that Moreno has been slapped with a disqualification order by the Commission on Elections (Comelec). Elections Commissioner Luie Tito Guia denied he and two other Comelec commissioners signed any resolution that ordered Moreno disqualified from seeking public office.

In the spurious Sandiganbayan 2nd Division document, dated May 10, Moreno was supposedly ordered suspended for 90 days for 90 days in connection with a graft case that sprang from the rental of heavy equipment by the capitol when Moreno was governor.

Moreno’s lawyer Dale Bryan Mordeno quickly brushed off the DxCC report even as he questioned the legitimacy of the document.

Mordeno said that like the fake Comelec resolution, the spurious Sandiganbayan document appeared fake in that it did not conform to the standard   legal form.

Maricel Rivera, city hall spokesperson, said the spurious document was brought to her attention by Sunstar editor-in-chief Nef Lucson who said it came from Gumapac.

Gumapac said he shared a copy of the spurious document to reporters in a Facebook chat group. He also said he merely asked if it was true or not.
