COTABATO City — City mayor warns the drivers to respect the law particularly those who are from other places the city for “absolute no parking” in a particular area.
Mayor Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi told reporters in an interview that the law is applicable to everyone and no one is exempted.
“The law is better for the people not only in the city but all the people who are willing to visit in Cotabato City,” she said.
She said there should absolutely no parking along Sinsuat and Quezon Avenue.
The Sinsuat Avenue starts from Barangay Tamontaka Mother to Quirino Bridge and to the Tabunaway area.
For those violating the ordinance, for the first offense will be a reprimand and penalty for the second offense.
Sayadi urge the commuters to follow the law otherwise it is better if they don’t visit the city anymore.
“I advise all the barangay official to help us to implement the law and to the people of Cotabato City so that we cannot create any problems and delay from our travels along the way,” Sayadi said.
