THE City Council during its regular session yesterday has adopted separate resolutions returning to Barangays 6, Cugman and Gusa their respective ordinances covering their annual budgets for 2019 with the information that the same are in order and may be given force and effect.

With an estimated income of P2.1 million, Barangay 6 has appropriated P244,018, representing its 20-percent Development Fund for the rehabilitation of its Materials Recovery Facility and drainage system. It has earmarked P216,570, representing its 10-percentSK Fund, for leadership training/youth camp program and socio-cultural and sports development.

Barangay Cugman shall utilize the amount of P3.2 million for the rehabilitation of pathways in Zones 1 to 10, building and offices, basketball court roofing, drainage system in Zone 2B and for the purchase of other equipment for Coral Reef protection purposes. Its SK Fund in the amount of P2 million will finance its trainings and seminars, travel expenses, uniform and supplies expenses, cultural and athletic expenses, scholarship educational assistance, among others. These allocations shall be taken from the barangay’s estimated income of P20.2 million.

Finally, Barangay Gusa has allocated P3.8 million for its livelihood and development project, purchase of environmental management vehicle, flood control-declogging of canals, rehabilitation and improvement of multi-purpose hall, pathways, MRF, waterworks system and installation and maintenance of street lighting system. Its SK Fund in the amount of P2.3 million is intended for programs on youth employment and livelihood, environmental protection, health and anti-drug abuse, among others. (sp)
