Barangay Macabalan will soon have a livelihood project area for its constituents.

The project is intended for the establishment of a  Barangay Eco-Brick Hub, which will create job opportunities to its residents, as well as promote environmental protection by the recycling of otherwise waste materials converting them into new functional products.

In his letter to the City Council, Moreno said the Deed of Usufruct is a manifestation of the city government’s strong commitment to collaborate with the barangays of the local government units in providing livelihood opportunity to its constituents and ensuring the safe environment for the community.

The contract of usufruct shall be effective for a period of 25 years from the time of the signing of memorandum of agreement and shall be renewable for another 25 years upon the agreement of the parties. (sp)
