City Councilor Reuben Daba, chairman of the Committee on Social Services said that after he reviewed the initial psychological evaluation made by the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD), found that the victim needs immediate help from the city government.

Wala siya gi-atiman sa hospital og miadto sila radio station aron mangayo og tabang,” Daba said.

Daba requested the Committee on Women’s and Family Relation chaired by City Councilor Edna Dahino to verify if the victim’s claims over the radio.

“We request Councilor Dahino to conduct an initial investigation to verify if there was indeed an incident claimed by the victim together with Councilor Romeo Calizo on the Committee on Police and Public Safety who has more experience in conducting further investigation and verification of the alleged abduction, rape and witness some murder incident inside the bodega that she was being captured,” he said.

CSWD head Teddy Sabuga-a said the victim needs to be evaluated first by the CSWD and doctors at the JR Borja General Hospital before they would send her back to the police for further investigation.

CSWD social worker team head Michael Pabello said the victim showed signs of trauma.

Kanang gabidli-on siya klaro kaayo nga trauma ang iyang gibati kung makadungog siya og naghilak og makuratan,” Pabello said.

The victim went to the said radio station with her aunt on April 5 where she claimed that she was abducted along the highway in Barangay Agusan last March 6.
