CITY councilor Lourdes Darimbang is not done with the Pancontinental 2015 mess just yet.

An adamant Darimbang said that the embarrassment the pageant has brought to city should not happen again and it is for this reason that she urged the city council to pass measures to avoid the same incident.

“My desire is to urge the members of the committee of tourism in bringing this catastrophic incident that practically destroyed the image  of the city to the international sphere. (We) want justice  for the city and its people,” Darimbang said.

Darimbang considered the social media rant of Kiwi contestant Nicole Harding, which compared the city to war-torn Afghanistan, an “outrage” because the city is generally peaceful.

She even mentioned the local organizers—Lourdes  Stanley of Balingasag  and Sheryl Macale, the station manager of Radyo Natin. “There should be someone who will be held liable for (this) mess,” added Darim-bang.

Darimbang categorically asked the organizers who gave them the permit and who allowed them to hold an international pageant in the city without the knowledge and consent of the city government.

“Who(ever) is responsible will be sanctioned,” said Darimbang.
