Biometrics data refers to the automated identification of an individual particularly his or her photograph, fingerprint and signature.

Meanwhile, the Comelec has provided an online system for individuals who want to find out if they are among those needing to have their biometrics taken without going to the City/Municipal Offices of Election Officer.

“The list of voters w/out and w/ incomplete biometrics in every city and municipality is on our website:http://www.comelec.gov.ph/r=VoterRegistration/NoIncompleteBio,” said Comelec Chairman Sixto Brillantes in his own Twitter account.

Registration for the 2016 national and local elections started last May 6 and will continue until October 31, 2015. PNA
