The Fourth Infantry ‘Diamond’ Division based here at Camp Edilberto Evangelista in Barangay Patag, this city, bids goodbye to electronic typewriters as they are now a recipient of Mithi.

Mithi, Medium-term Information and Comuni-cations Technology Harmonization initiative” is a goverment project which aims to harmonize programs and projects in all agencies and all levels of the bureaucracy.

Major General Benjamin Madrigal yesterday was grateful after they rceived the 31 desktops and nine laptop computers with a total amount of P1,138,418.

Madrigal announced that these desktops and laptops will be distributed to their departments that will be used in enhancing situational awareness, command control and development of decision support system.

The new equipment will help in their daily reports and easier submission to their department and their headquarters, it will also help in their geographical information system, added Madrigal.

Magagamit natin to sa ating mga operations, kung tama ba ang pinupuntahan natin o kung tama ba ang ginagawa natin,” Madrigal said.

Madrigal warned his troops not to use the new equipment for personal matters such as Facebook and other games but to use these for an effective and efficient work mode in their quarters.
