THE Department of Interior and Local Government’s regional office was careful with its pronouncements yesterday about the city hall situation after the Court of Appeals released a new resolution that favored the position of Mayor Oscar Moreno.

On Wednesday afternoon, before the CA resolution was released, DILG director for northern Mindanao Arnel Agabe said the Department already served the ombudsman’s order to dismiss Moreno, and that Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy should automatically assume as mayor.

But with the CA order out, Agabe held back. He said he has yet to receive an official copy of the CA resolution.

“Dili pako ana maka-comment kay  wala pa koy kopya,” Agabe said.

The DILG’s next move, he said, would depend on the the CA’s order.

“Depinde na unsay gi-ingon sa CA. Kinahanglan guided ta sa  CA resolution. Dapat na-a tay kopya,” Agabe said.
