Local officials of Barangay Nazareth are appealing to City Hall not to intervene with their conflict with the officers of Nazareth Lawn Tennis Club because it might be muddled with politics.

The appeal came from Nazareth chairman Maximo Rodriguez III yesterday morning saying that City administrator Teddy Sabuga-a should stay away from the issue and refrain from uttering unreliable and bias comments.

Ang insakto unta comment ni Sabuga-a is magpadala siya og personnel og tan-awon kung unsa ang ilang mabuhat dili kay babagan ang proyekto sa nasyunal. Abi ko man og kaabag para dili babag. Ikaw naman hinuon city administrator ang nag-una sa babag sa kalambuan,” he said.

Earlier, Sabugaa issued a warning stating that there should be no demolition because local officials of Nazareth needs approval and demolition permit from the Office of the Building Official.

Rodriguez said the right action of the city government should have been only limited as overseer and guidance body in implementing national funded projects directly poured down to the barangay level.

“Guide, mediate and ayaw mi babaga sa among mga proyekto og programa para sa kaayuhan sa among barangay,” he said.
