With the theme, “Agham na Ramdam,” Science Nation Tour in Region 10 will be a four-day event starting on August 20 and to culminate on August 24.

A number of activities have been lined up to be participated by the young people.  One of these activities is the Career Guidance and Leadership Forum on August 21 at the Min-danao University of Science and Technology (MUST) of which about 150 high school students are expected to attend.

Students (college, high school and elementary) with science projects/researches are also invited to join the three-day Regional Invention Contest and Exhibit which will be held at the event Center, 2nd Level, Limketkai Mall.  Also, on August 22, there will be a Science Quiz Show for both high school and elementary students. Meanwhile, DOST scholars who graduated with honors and students who won in international science and mathematics competitions will also be awarded on August 23.

The four-day event will be capped by the zumbag-ham which will be facilitated by selected on-going DO ST scholars enrolled at MSU-IIT, MUST and Xavier University.  The same DOST scholars are to take charge of the conduct of the Career Guidance and Leadership Forum and the Science Quiz Show.

The Science Nation Tour is a nationwide road show aimed at making science ‘felt’ by the people.  In Region 10, SNT will be held on August 20-24, 2015. (dost-10)
