THE City Council committee on public works chaired by Councilor Zaldy Ocon during its recent meeting called on the Department of Public Works and Highways-10 to proceed with the construction and maintenance of the flood mitigation structures at the Burgos section of the Cagayan de Oro River Basin.
This, during discussions on the request of the DPWH for the city’s assistance to hold a dialogue with a certain individual claiming ownership of a property affected by the project.
The City Assessor’s Office said the supposed lot owner still applied for ownership of the property. (cio)
