ILIGAN City – With the anticipated increase in the vehicular traffic volume due to the upcoming annual celebration of the Feast of St. Michael, the Archangel, or more known as Señor San Miguel, the Department of Public Works and Highways-Lanao del Norte District 2 Engineering Office has suspended its road construction and road repair works until the first week of October.

The declaration was also in support of a resolution from the Sanggunian Panlungsod of Iligan City, requesting for the suspension of the construction projects.

Work on various road rehabilitation projects are set to resume on Oct. 4 after most of the scheduled Iligan City fiesta activities have been concluded. (PR)
