Three residents from Cagayan de Oro and one from Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon were arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by elements of Manolo Fortich Municipal Police Station, 3rd Maneuver Company of 10th Regional Public Service Battalion (RPSB) last Friday.

Manolo Fortich Municipal Police Station commander Insp. Merlin Macawili identified the arrested suspects as Hezel Fate Panoncio, 25, single, and a resident Barangay Gusa; Albert Tapang Dikere, 28, and younger brother Melchor Tapang Dikere, 23, single and a resident of P-2 Barangay. Macawili said they were conducting perimeter security during the conduct of Anti-Illegal Drug Operation at Sitio Mangima, Barangay Dalirig, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon when they spotted the group of Panoncio.

Confiscated from their possession were drug paraphernalia, Cash money amounting to P121,910 and six sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu.

The confiscated items were all accounted for in the presence of Barangay Chairman Elbern Onahon, Lingi-on and several media personnel.

Meanwhile, Cugman police station Anti-Drug Enforcement Team (Sadet) of Cagayan de Oro City Police Office led by Chief Insp. Evan Viñas conducted buy-bust operation against illegal drugs at Purok-13, Baloy, Tablon, this city.

Police resulted the successful arrest of one Julito Cabatuan alias “Jojo”, 43, married, a resident of Purok-13, Tablon, this city.

Viñas said they bought from the suspect one sachet containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu with a buy-bust money worth P 200 pesos.

Recovered and confiscated from his possession were one small pink container containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu and the buy-bust money.
