Iligan City — A man drowned shortly after swimming following downing some beers at Rig’s resort at Santa Felomina, this city.
Police station 3 at Dalipuga this city headed by Police Investigator Oswaldo Tiongson identified the victim as Mike Abalos, 32, single, and a resident of Sta. Felomina.
It was learned that he had drank alone at the beach resort past 9:00 am Monday, getting his supply from stores at the resort.
Later, concerned citizens saw the man surfacing from the sea seemingly lifeless. Concerned citizens then fished him out of the waters and tried to revive him but he was beyond saving.
