Eduardo Diego an Italian themed restaurant recently celebrated its 1st year anniversary at its Pacifico Boutique Hotel branch, where they also unveiled their newest addition to its already delicious Menu last April 7.

Owned and manage by Jeigfred Pakino and Edgardo Quimpano Eduardo Diego Ristorante is located along Velez-Fernandez Streets, Eduardo itself is a three-year old brand. Its menu was originally served at J2J Fastfood and Cafe, a restaurant that serves Filipino and Italian cuisines, located at corner Velez-Hayes St., 3 blocks away from the said hotel.

For his opening remark Jeigfred Pakino thanked everyone who attended and supported Eduardo Diego for the past years. He especially thanked one of its patron PEAK Excellence Training Academy and Review Center founder Marivic Yamit-Tabasan for regularly dropping by and dining with them since the beginning.

Marivic also shared her story how she loves Italian cuisine especially its pasta a go to comfort food for her after a busy day from work. “I was craving for pasta, and accidentally discovered Eduardo Diego (2 years ago), before dili pa inani [a restaurant] gamay rani na-store before [sa Velez-Hayes branch] so I bought my first one and ever since I kept coming back for more. Now I don’t need to come into the store to order I can just wait outside inside my care, and give them a call and kabalo na sila ako na.”

“I have tried plenty of restaurants that serve this kind of cuisine, pero so far their take on Italian cuisine especially in Pasta is the best – That is why I love it here,” she concluded.

Its Pene Pasta Salsa Rosa a mixed red sauce and cream – a savory comfort food that is light and fulfilling, Eduardo Diego also introduced one more variation of the Pasta the Pene Pasta Bolognese imported penne pasta on pomodoro sauce & strong cured flavor Bolognese meat, garnished with herbs & melted mozzarella, and grated parmiggiano.
