TODAY, being Chinese New Year’s Day, is a fitting preparation for the start of the campaign period for the May 9, 2016 elections.

Chances are, all candidates in this year’s national and local elections are busy spending precious moments with their Chinese seers. I can only hope and pray that they would spend a lot more paying homage to their faith, not to their irrational beliefs. As we keep on saying: “Only with God can we attain full and true happiness and lasting peace.”

Unless changes are made, the Duterte-Cayetano tandem will make Tondo, the official opening salvo for the PDP-Laban. To the national think tank of the Team Duterte-Cayetano, Tondo fits best for this year’s elections. It is the birthplace of our national hero, Andres Bonifacio, the poor fighter for freedom and democracy; Tondo is the true picture of our country as far as the free world sees our archipelago. While she shows the ugly side of our native land, it is full of life only awaiting the right leadership in the land.

In our City of Golden Friendship, the various and countless small groupings of ordinary citizens who believe in the cause espoused by Davao Mayor Rodrigo Roa Duterte and Senate majority leader Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano are doing everything within their limited resources to make a difference in the national political landscape much better, hopefully, than the 1986 epoch-making People Power.

The Barog Pederal Mindanao or BPM-DC(Duterte-Cayetano)–an umbrella organization of the various no-name men, women and LGBTs–was given the daunting task of producing what little they individually have and the necessary warm bodies to showcase will power over matter.

Starting at 5 o’clock dawn tomorrow, 9th day of February, the minutest cells within the barangays of our City of Golden Friendship and Misamis Oriental self-clad in Blue, Red or what-have-they except yellow will joyfully converge at the foot of the Marcos Bridge to serenade, chant and make a pleasing noise barrage to the amiable Kagay-anons if only to welcome everyone to the long awaited change of national governance and way of life.

By 7 am, the students and all would walk to their respective schools, colleges and universities. And the rest would proceed on foot to Divisoria, Andres Bonifacio side for a very short programme, followed by sound of music with printing of t-shirts for free as well as the continuing registration of volunteers for the Team Duterte-Cayetano.

As soon as the walk to the Divisoria begins, those with rides would start the caravan to the province: one group heading east up to Gingoog City. And the other heading for the West up to Iligan City. And as we have previously emphasized and repeatedly requested, please be self-sufficient but, preferably, whatever little you have kindly share them with those who have none but their warm bodies. And never ever forget to police your own ranks. However, in the unlikely event of unwelcome infiltrators, always do a Duterte–self defense, defense of strangers, relatives and properties–but when “push becomes shove” then ensure a pre-emptive strike to quell whatever is evil. Remember desert storm by the US against Saddam Hussein of Iraq!

Whatever Kagay-anons and the rest of the country would see starting 5 am until the whole day of tomorrow would be the self-help-empowering moves initiated by the Barong Pederal Mindanao (BPM-DC) which stands for:

  • Federalism, being the best solution to the graft and corruptidden presidential form of governance – the principal cause of the greedy-elitist- hypocritical-government.
  • Every member of the BPM-DC are all servant-leaders based on principle rather personality, the very cause of Philippine poverty in an ocean of God-given wealth and intellectual supremacy, as proven in the peaceful uprising of the 1986 People Power.
  • Total, if not absolute cessation of the culture of impunity spawned by debilitating greed and massive quagmire of poverty lurking in every nook and cranny in the archipelago.

Duterte-Cayetano pa more!

“A hundred friends are not enough, but one enemy is too many.” – Anne Sophie Swetchine

Because, according to Cicero, “Man is his worst enemy,” the Team Duterte-Cayetano in the City of Cagayan de Oro deemed it best to divide themselves into  three groupings, namely: UCCP, Southwinds, and the least of the three, the VIPs.

And because Team Duterte-Cayetano welcomes all comers–the good, the bad and even the ugly, if any there be– volunteers choose your wild.

  • To the seasoned and those who wish to be like them, please register with the UCCP (United Church of Christ in the Philippines), where continuing seminars and workshops are going on;
  • The Southwinds (Southwinds Hotel). This is where the PDP-Laban bigwigs, the Roa-Neri-Chaves clans, dominate.
  • The least of the three is the VIPs (VIP Hotel). This is where the Barog Pederal Mindanao (BPM-DC) hang around. All our members are the leading servant-followers. And if you are keen observer, you would readily see that our group, excluding yours truly, is composed of the seasoned think tanks of the Orange, Violet and the Yellow. And precisely, because of this fact, there are no debates in the group. Only constructive suggestions of what’s best in every which way. Solicitation of whatever is strictly prohibited.
  • Because I have been designated as the chairman, I am the leading servant of all: we listen, suggest and implement, and never shall we dictate on whatever.

Tsada, di ba?
