Emano welcomes new PNP 10 chief

Misamis Oriental Gov. Bambi Emano welcomes new regional director of Philippine National Police Region 10, Police Chief Supt. Jose L. Gentiles  who took over the regional command from Police Chief Supt. Lyndel Desquitado in ceremonies held yesterday at Cmp Alagar.

“It  is my pleasure to welcome Chief Supt. Gerntiles and I look forward to working with him in our desire for peace and order in our community,” Gov. Emano said.

He gave a good chance for the new PNP regional director to succeed in his peace efforts, more particularly in the coming elections, considering that Chief Supt. Gentiles is from this place.

“He knows the terrain, so too speak. And he also understands the culture of our people, a trait that works in his favor,” Gov. Emano said.

The Governor hopes that PC Supt. Gentiles would concentrate his efforts in bringing about a clean and honest elections.

“Due to the proximity of the date of the elections and the open refusal of some candidates to sign a peace covenant, an election activity designed by thr PNP; it is therefore safe to presume that those who did not  sign that peace covenant must have some sinister plans at the back of there heads,” the Governor said.
