A Cagayan de Oro Water District (COWD) water meter breaks from its makeshift repair done by the owner to prevent further leakage. Ironically the homeowner is located adjacent only to the COWD Booster Pump Station in Tomas Saco 14, Barangay Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City. It can be recalled that COWD loses 80,000 cubic meters daily due to leaks alone which represents 53% of the company’s water supply that fails to make it to households.
