Iligan City — The fire department under Fire Chief Insp. Butch Baulati are still investigating what caused the fire  that occured last Sunday evening at Mahayahay, this city, in a building called “Soda” building.

The fire occurred 9:52 pm and was declared under control by 11:00 p.m.

The establishment in the building that was razed was selling a variety of goods like Tupperware, plastic bags and animal feeds.

The building is owned by Osmund Development Corporation.

The fire trucks that helped out to contorl the fire came from this city, Tubod, Maria Cristina, Buruun, and Saray.

No casualty was reported and damage was placed at P200,000.

The fire walls that surrounded the building helped in containing the fire from the adjacent buildings in the area.
