AT LEAST 37 students of Initao National Comprehensive High School were allegedly possessed by ‘evil spirits,’ the town’s mayor claimed.
The alleged possession started at about 8 am, last Friday, inside an old two-storey building inside the campus.
Initao Mayor Enerito Acain said he did not believe in ghosts or spirit possessions but changed his mind after witnessing the events on Friday.
“Imbis wala ko motuo pero nakatuo na lang ko kay nakasaksi man ko sa nahitabo,” said Acain.
Acain said some students were wailing while some were flailing on the ground. He added one student called him out. “Mora mi ug nag-negotiate pero dili lang sa nako i-sulti ang ilang gipangayo. Among lang paningkamotan nga among mahatag ang ilang gusto,” he said. (Nitz Arancon)
