Roger Lacre, 54, alias “Tatik,” residing at Natubo, Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, was shot and killed by still unidentified suspects riding in tandem Wednesday afternoon.

Susan Pajo, a relative of the victim said, she is requesting the law enforcers to have a thorough investigation regarding the death of the victim.

The incident occurred at around 1 pm.

Pajo said Lacre has no known enemies in their area.

It was learned that Lacre was at Pajo’s house to fed his chicks.

On the other hand, Police Chief Insp. Rogelio Labor, Jasaan police station commander said, Lacre was known in the place as the “fixer.”

He said every time there is a drug suspect arrested he will then offer himself to help him avail the bail bond.

Pajo said, Lacre only finished elementary but he was knowledgeable in processing the requirements in order for the arrested individual to have temporary liberty.

“He might have irked some law enforcers,” Pajo said.

Prior to the incident, Pajo said, two persons riding a motorcycle approached Lacre and asked the latter if he knows a certain Mariano Cabeltes in the area.

“Mitubag dayon si Tatik nga wala daw siyay nailhan nga Mariano Cabeltes sa ilang lugar,” Pajo recalled.

A few seconds later Pajo heard two gunshots. She hurriedly ran towards the sala and there found Lacre’s body already lying on the floor.
