Nacaya issued this statement during the last day of Ceed’s Team Building at Dahilayan Forest Park, telling employees of Ceed-Cogon Market to focus on positivism.

“We should face positively all challenges rather than being distracted by vicious attacks on radio and social media,” he said.

Nacaya added the Ceed employees must take the high ground and pay attention to doing good things for the benefit of the Kagay-anons.

“There are a lot of negative things today, both in radio and social media. A lot of mudslinging is going on. They keep on throwing trash as if they are clean. We should not dwell into that,” he said.

He said they should bury the negatives with good service to the constituents.

“No amount of barrage of radio attacks and media squabbling can demoralize us because we are on high moral ground,” he said.

However, Kalipunan ng Damayang Mahihirap (Kadamay) Cagayan de Oro President Francisco Pagayaman claimed Ceed management is reportedly implementing road and clearing operation around Cogon Public Market to avoid traffic congestions along Osmena Streets that brought by the opening of SM Downtown Premier.

Pagayaman said they are contemplating to hold march rally towards City Hall by members of the Kadamay-Cogon Public Market vendors to asked the local chief executive to cancel Moreno’s clearing operation order.

Naa pa gyud kami’y rally around the public market and noise barrage diha sa Cogon to protest the clearing operation made by Ceed management. Posters posting to condemn the clearing operation,” he said.

He said not allowing vendors to sell during day time is tantamount to slowly killing the daily living of every vendors who sell their wares.

Affected during clearing operations were sidewalk vendors who sell fruits and vegetables, personal wares, street food, and other merchandise, they are only allowed to sell their products during 10:00 pm to 4:00 am.

Dili kini maki-angayon og maka-supak kini sa tawhanong katungod,” he added.
