Iligan City — Two houses were destroy during an unexpected fire in Barangay Tambacan, Purok 6, this city.
Totally damage exact estimated P60,000, and the partial damage has yet to be estimated. The fire department was focused on a totally destroyed residence. The owner of the residence Jean Villamor Obina suffered burns.
The fire started at about 11 am, on Saturday. Investigator FO1 Cris Oliver Caballero disclosed they have yet to ascertain where the fire originated. The fire victims are now temporarily staying at the Barangay Tambacan Hall.
They were given City Social Welfare and Development a full assistance in the form of noodles, sardines and rice. The other people also given help for their clothing , blankets and some items.
The barangay chairman with councilors were enjoined near-by residence to also help the fire victims. (Nora Soriño and Sita Asequia)
