City fire marshal Pedro Felicilda said identified the victims as Artemio Flores Bilang and his wife Aileen, both 55 years, and their daughters Arlene May, 23, and Marah Allan, 14.

The victims were believed to have suffocated. Three of the bodies were still intact but Artemio’s was charred.

Investigators said the Bilangs’ concrete house at Phase 4, Block 4, Lot 17, Acacia St., was locked and the windows had grills so outsiders could not get to them fast.

Fire investigators theorized that a liquefied petroleum gas tank exploded because there were signs that the fire began at the kitchen, and it was the part of the house that was razed to the ground.

Investigators said neighbors were clueless because it happened so fast at around 1 am.
