AT least P100 thousand worth of property was damaged by a fire incident in Sitio Haka-haka, Zone 5, in Barangay Bonbon, this city at 9:45 am, yesterday.

According to Senior Fire Officer 3 Samson Velarde, Carmen fire chief, the house belonged to Johnny Montesa, 62.

Velarde said they controlled the fire at 10:05 am and declared fire-out at 10:08 am. He added that no one was hurt in the conflagration.

Velarde bared they looking into two possibilities of how the fire started. It could have been a leaking LPG tank or an illegal “flying” electrical connection, he said.
