The entire unit of Bureau of Fire Protection-10 has already conducted ocular inspection the safety of all government educational institutions as the Brigada Eskwela closes today.

This was disclosed by BFP-10 regional director Senior Supt. Lynde Lauzon that he already instructed all their field units to conduct a massive ocular inspection to all government-owned institutions in preparation to school year 2019-2020.

“Aside from ocular inspection, BFP personnel were also told to help in cleaning the school premises and buildings,” he said.

He said other function of the BFP during the holding of Brigada Eskwela 2019 is not only for cleaning but to conduct repair and utilize equipment like ladders and tank of waters for the cleaning operations.

“Other government agencies like PNP and other law enforcement units were told to help in the cleaning and conduct possible repairs to classrooms as preparation for the school openings,” he said.

He said not only for the public schools but also for the private institutions who were earlier checked specially during the renewal of business permits at the start of the year.

“Boarding houses and commercial districts were subjected for regular inspections,” he also said.

Lauzon said record disclosed coming from the BFP-10 regional offices that no commercial buildings and boarding houses were declared as fire hazards after they also comply all the standard requirements.
