Chief Insp. Jovanie Cabusas said on Sunday that Stations 1 to 5 located at Tambo, Nonocan, Dalipuga, Tubod, and Poblacion have the following commanders now: Sr. Inspectors Eric Logronio, Taka  Tandug, Enrique Dungog, Pantan and Allan Abalde, respectively.

The former station commanders have to undergo mandatory schooling, Cabusas said, hence the new ones assigned to the posts. He said the order comes direct from Camp Crame.

The police chief here is still Sr. Supt. Rene Solidarios who has recently replaced Sr. Supt. Manuel Sukarno Alvarez, to the dismay of City Mayor Celso Regencia who had wanted the latter to stay.

Regencia then took back several patrol cars assigned for use to the police office in an act of displeasure of the development but gave them back to the police saying the vehicles were simply “inventoried.”
