Iligan City — Father Teresito “Chito” Suganob prayed for the success of the Bangsamoro Organic Law even as he enjoined the faithful to also pray for a successful plebiscite.

This was on the occasion of the the feast of the Black Nazarene. He added that it is right to do so as what happens to the law affects everyone in Mindanao.

To recall, the said priest figured in the May 2017 Marawi siege  in which he was one of those taken hostage by the ISIS-inspired Maute group and survived the crisis.

The plebiscite, to note is, set for Jan. 21 in all provinces in the Armm. The Commission on Elections has also set a vote on Feb. 6 in Lanao del Norte, six towns in Cotabato and other areas that petitioned for inclusion in the future Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Mindanao.
