Contingents from the five divisions of the Misamis Oriental Council are expected to participate—Camiguin, Misamis Oriental, Gingoog City, El Salvador City, and Cagayan de Oro City.

Town Mayor Donato Chan said he warmly welcomes the girl scouts to Medina and actively shows his support to GSP’s mission by hosting the encampment and providing logistic support that will give quality experience to the delegates.

This encampment, along with other GSP-Misamis Oriental events, is under the leadership of council president Agnes Adviento.

Adviento who spent most of her childhood as a girl scout gives credit to the different scouting activities to her formation as an empowered woman, and leader that she is today. This kind of impact is what she and the GSP council’s board of trustees envision for the contingents of the 24th Councilwide Encampment.

This encampment is just one of the many events prepared and lined up by the GSP-Misor Council.
