Vice Mayor Raineir Joaquin Uy endorsed the deed of donation between the Rurual Transit (Mindanao), Inc. and the city government to the committee on ways and means chaired by Councilor George Goking for review.
It was learned that the RTMI in addressing its priority activities towards education, health, youth and sports development, and human settlement, among others, particularly in the transportation aspect of such priority activities, is donating the bus as part of its social responsibility.
The bus is valued at P3.6 million.
Assistant City Legal Officer Atty. Reymond Q. Villablanca thoroughly reviewed the documents and said these are in sufficient form and substance. The Deed of Donation is in legal order, he added. (sp)
