The bill seeks to harness Lake Lanao’s potential to its fullest, thus hastening the development of the areas surrounding it.

Gordon, to note, is the  Chairman of the Philippine Red Cross and he was in Marawi City in connection with the turnover of the water development and sanitation facility in Bualan Spring at Bualan barangay, Saguiaran Lanao del Sur.

This P4-million worth of water development and water sanitation project was made possible through the efforts of the International Committee of the Red Cross with its President and Chief Executive Officer, Peter Maurer, who hails from Switzerland.

This is Maurer’s second visit to the country, the first being in Samar when typhoon Yolanda struck more than two years ago.

The spring development project is in coordination with the PRC led by Gordon and the local government units in the area.
